White Elephant Candy Gift Box

Every Christmas the studio where I work has a White Elephant gift exchange. Each year the gift exchange has a theme, the theme this year was a treat box with some kind of treat. People can either make something, buy something, turn something into that something and so on. Myself, I opted to make my treat box this year... industrial meets wacko weird candy land, filled with Christmas candy of course.

Turned out pretty good.

Going Nowhere, The Space Boy

Another little iPad sketch, this one is random and really simple but
I love how it turned out.
This is a prime example of what I  mentioned before on this blog,
Some things you plan and spend time meticulously laying out
and in the end your not happy. Other times you just start drawing or painting lines and shapes and the art makes itself.

eat your bacon

I can spend hours toiling over a drawing or painting, and in the end
I hate it... no energy, no flow, I don't like it.
But a quick sketch with no pre-rehearsed  idea, just lett'n shit spew,
can be some great stuff.
Doesn't have to make sense. EAT YOUR BACON.

Sketches, Flip Faces and Tessellations

Lunchtime sketches of quick faces that can change mood when flipped upside down. Further study with patterns, I want to play with this a lot more.

The Physical and Mental eat each other, and vise versa...

We have mental needs, witch are also physical needs,
addictions in life, always trying to quit for our mental and physical needs
but we don't because of our mental and physical needs.

I'm gonna have another beer...
